Calville Blanc

From the garden of Louis X111, and decends from a seed of French Reinette, traced to 1510. 
Excellent dessert and cooking apple. When ripe, spicy, flavourful, large fruit. Bears fruit early, scab resistant. Very high in vitamin C. 
Pick November-December. Stores well, use until March.
