Gloria Mundi

Potentially the biggest apple grown in North America under correct circumstances, but in a heavy crop year it makes a lovely handful! Makes good apple butter, and useful for cooking. Generally tart flavour eaten out of hand but sweet after cooking. Pick Early October and will store well.
